An epic half marathon along The Ridgeway National Trail between Wendover & Princes Risborough in Buckinghamshire. The 8th edition will take place on Sunday 5th July 2026 at 10:00am. Starting and finishing Wendover, the route takes runners on along a stunning stretch of trail to Whiteleaf Hill Nature Reserve, where an undulating forest loop awaits.
Course details
The route is entirely off road and will test your strength and stamina as you tackle the numerous ups and downs.

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
On the race day at the event base. Location: Shoulder of Mutton Pub on Pound St in Wendover.
How do I get to the race location?
Wendover train station is situated just a 5-minute walk from the event base and there are regular trains to/from London.
Can I change the distance after I purchase a ticket?
We don't offer deferrals.
What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
If you choose to voluntarily withdraw from an event, the following refund policy will apply: More than 4 weeks before race day - 90% withdrawal
Required gear
All runners will be required to carry the following items for the entirety of the run: - Mobile phone (recommended) - Digital route map on watch/phone (recommended) - Soft cup for drinks at aid station (recommended)
What footwear should I wear at this race?
Please wear trail running shoes for this race. The footpaths are uneven and steep in places.
Can I listen to music during the race?
Yes, headphones are permitted, however, they must be removed at the start, when at checkpoints and at any road crossings.
