Join Tay Ho Half Marathon 2026
After 5 seasons, the Tay Ho Half Marathon has become an annual sports gathering that welcomes thousands of runners from both Vietnam and around the world. In 2026, as we enter the 6th season, the journey continues – not only with strong strides, but also through the blend of Hanoi's thousand-year spirit and its vibrant modern life.
This race offers a one-of-a-kind route, leading runners past historical landmarks such as Phu Tay Ho and Tran Quoc Pagoda. Shaded roads circling the legendary West Lake not only challenges runners physically, but also allows them to connect with the deep cultural stories of Thang Long – now Hanoi.
With three race distances: 5KM – 15KM – 21KM , every step is a bridge between past and present – where each runner creates their own unique story in a joyful and colorful RUNNERS' FESTIVAL full of energy and emotions.
Tay Ho Half Marathon 2026 is organized by VRace (by VuMedia) – a highly experienced organizer that has successfully managed and operated multiple previous editions of the race. The event is professionally executed in close coordination with partners and relevant authorities, ensuring not only a safe and seamless experience for runners but also creating opportunities for local residents and visitors to immerse themselves in the vibrant race atmosphere.
Course details
The 21KM route of the Tay Ho Half Marathon encircles West Lake. Every step taken will bring athletes seamless emotions, allowing you to fully appreciate the cultural heritage along the running course.
15km
In the 15KM route of the Tay Ho Half Marathon, participants will have the opportunity to admire the beauty of Kim Lien Pagoda, Quan Thanh Temple, and many ancient temples along the running route.
5km
The 5KM route of the Tay Ho Half Marathon will run along West Lake, allowing you to fully admire the West Lake Jade Dragon and experience the early morning atmosphere at Tay Ho.
